Each of our newborn labradoodles are whelped in our bed room and reside there with their mother for the initial 2 weeks. This is where our mom dogs really feel most safe and where we can maintain a close eye on the child labradoodles. Only after they are two weeks old we move them to the family room where they are introduced to all that takes place in family life.
