We think our labradoodle family members do best when they are just one of us and regarded like family members. We travel with our dogs even when it is simply just to the grocery store. All of our infant labradoodles are whelped in our bedroom and live there with their mother for the 1st 2 weeks. This is where our mom labradoodles really feel most safe and specifically where we can always keep a close eye on the baby labradoodles. After they are two weeks old we relocate them to the family room where they are exposed to everything that occurs in family living.
