All of our baby labradoodles are whelped in our bedroom and reside there with their mother for the first 2 full weeks. This is where our mother dogs really feel safest and exactly where we can keep a close eye on the child labradoodles. Just after they are 2 weeks old we transfer them to the family room where they are subjected to everything that goes on in family living.
