We travel with our dogs even when it is simply to the corner store. All of our newborn labradoodles are whelped in our bedroom and live there with their mother for the initial 2 weeks. This is where our mother labradoodles feel most safe and precisely where we can help keep a close eye on the newborn labradoodles. Soon after they are 2 weeks old we transfer them to the family room where they are subjected to everything that goes on in family everyday living.
