We believe our labradoodle family members do best when they are just one of us and valued like family members. We travel with our dogs even when it is just to the grocery. All of our baby labradoodles are whelped in our bedroom and reside there with their mom for the first 2 weeks. This is where our mommy labradoodles really feel safest and exactly where we can always keep a close eye on the child labradoodles. Soon after they are 2 weeks old we shift them to the family room where they are exposed to all that goes on in family life.
